My little contribution for Plague 2, an anthology of visual and literary works for a Komikon shindig. Basic plot/idea behind the anthology is how you would react or see yourself in the unfortunate and inescapable event of a plague…of course no one will survive from it, so you ask yourself, now what?
Well, I say to heck with it! I’ll face the damn thing head on and just, well, die. But I don’t like my death to be messy or whatnot, so instead I imagine for myself this graceful and dignified way of going out…fall from somewhere and just let the wind blow and carry off the little pieces of you.
Another ‘out of my comfort zone’ work (well not quite out there, I suppose). Was going for the ‘street/skateboard-ish culture’ theme.
The mere fact that I cannot properly describe its theme is really awkward. :<
A little something I did for a friend. Said friend deserved a big hug owed me big time for dragging me out of my comfort zone.
Boy Blue
Been re-studying my old works recently. I find that I’m not quite consistent with the styles I use and as much as I want to explore more, I wish I can discipline myself to at least stick with one style for a while (and probably make a series).
Found this in Fully Booked’s Facebook page. Of course I just had to get a copy for posterity’s sake. Please come back again JJ! :>
